Testing / Safety Fall Arrest Roof Anchor Certification
Our anchors are load tested to 2500lbs as per ANSI / IWCA mandates, under the direct supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.
OSHA requires that any building with roof anchors must have the anchors inspected, tested, and maintained in order to ensure a safe workplace.

Safety Fall Arrest Roof Anchors must be inspected on an annual basis to ensure compliance with the ANSI/IWCA I-14.1 Window Washing Safety Standard. The standard states that a competent person must visually inspect all roof anchors once a year. In addition, the anchors must be load tested, witnessed and certified by a registered professional engineer every ten years.
As experts in the field, General Safety Services takes all guesswork out of annual visual inspections. GSS will also provide you with an inspection report including any recommendations needed to keep your building in compliance. All inspections are performed by our highly trained personnel.
During the load testing and certification process, a registered professional engineer will inspect, test, and certify all anchor points and provide you with the necessary certification and documentation of the findings.
If benefitial to your organization, GSS Corp can also provide a system logbook detailing the current system as well as a stamped “as-built” notice to post near your roof access.
