General Safety gets Logan Window Contract

General Safety Services Corp., a window-washing company in Dedham, Mass., was awarded a $1.025 million three-year contract from the Massachusetts Port Authority Thursday to keep the Logan Airport building windows clean.

The 15-staff company, started two years ago by Nardine Bellew, was the only bidder for the job, and it's the company's largest contract to date.

The company is charged with washing all building windows, including MassPort headquarters and the airport walkways.

The company is slated to start February 1st.
